Why Join LAAGD?

First and foremost, LAAGD will teach kids the essentials of coding, which is a skill that is in high demand in our rapidly modernizing world. 68% of parents consider coding a necessary skill for their children no matter their future occupation, and as technology continues to advance, this number will only rise.

However, where LAAGD differs from other CS courses is in its emphasis of focusing on teaching students ALL aspects of game design - including music composition, art creation, play testing, animation, AND coding. This allows a more holistic creative experience that combines computer science with artistic creation

Additionally, The course will build teamwork skills that will be important in school - and in life. Students will be able to collaborate on projects and/or join breakout rooms to brainstorm ideas and get answers to their questions.

Finally, this course is 100% free. We firmly believe that learning computer science should not require a financial investment, and we don't want to detract any eager students from learning this amazing field.

“Thank you for running this course, it showed me how fun coding can be!"
